Recording with Manuai White Baiance
Adjustment
With this Movie Camera, you can also adjust the white balance
manually.
Use this mode for special subjects and recording conditions, for
which the FuH Auto Mode is not suitable, and for light sources
outside the range 0 {-» 98). Use it also when you want to
manually adjust the white balance for each new scene as
professionals do.

Press the [PROG. AE] Button repeatedly until
an indication other than [AUTO] Indication
appears.
Attach the White Lens Cap and zoom in until
the entire screen is white.
Keep the [W.B] Button pressed until the [t^^]
Indication 0 stops flashing and remains lit.
In the following cases, you cannot change White Balance:
•When you set [DIGITAL EFFECT] on the [DIGITAL EFFECT]
Sub-Menu to [BAV], [SEPIA], [CLASSIC FILM], [RED FILTER]
or [BLUE FILTER]
• During 0 Lux Night View Mode
In the following cases, the [i^"Ll] Indication flashes:
• During manual adjustment of the white balance. (If the
surroundings are dark and the white balance cannot be
adjusted, the [t^"^] Indication keeps flashing.)
•When the previously manual white balance adjustment is
maintained.
Cancelling the Manual White Balance Mode
Press the [W.B] Button once. Or, press the [PROG. AE] Button
repeatedly until the [AUTO] Indication appears.
Subjects and Recording Conditions Not Suitable for
Recording in the Full Auto Mode
•Subjects with dark surfaces
•Subjects lit by natrium lamps
