Using the Super Image Stabilizer
Function
In recording situations where shaking of the Movie Camera is
likely to happen, for example when you have zoomed in on a
distant subject or when you record while walking, you can use
this function to stabilize the image.
• In case of very strong camera shake, it may not be possible to
stabilize the picture.

Press the Super Image Stabilizer Button [SIS].
•The [ ®i] Lamp lights and the [ ®'] Indication appears.
Cancelling the Super Image Stabilizer Function
Press the [SIS] Button again.
■ In the Following Recording Conditions, the
Picture Stabilizing Effect May Not Be Sufficient:
•Subjects with horizontal or vertical stripes
• Flat subjects
• Dark subjects (In this case, the [ gi] Indication flashes.
Increase the amount of light.)
•Subjects under many fluorescent lamps
