d)
If the stove is placed below a wall kitchen cabinet,
the cabinet must be located at least 420 mm above
the heating plate. Minimal distance between the
working area and the kitchen cabinet made of
inflammable material is 700 mm.
e)
The wall that is in direct contact with the back

Connecting the appliance to the house
gas distribution system
Connection of the appliance to the house gas
distribution system or liquefied gas bottle must be
carried out in accordance with applicable regulations.
It's also necessary to make sure that the appliance
has been adjusted for the relevant gas type. If it has
not been adjusted yet, the procedure described in
"Adjusting for various gas types" must be carried
out. Some models allow connecting the gas input
on the left or the right side as needed; if you want
to change the connection, change the hose holder
position and move the gasket (included). If you use
bottled liquefied gas, install pressure regulator
conforming to applicable safety regulations.
Important: For safety reasons, in order to properly
use the internal gas energy and to improve appliance
durability it is necessary to secure the required
pressure at the appliance input as described in table
1 " Nozzle and burner technical data".
Connecting gas hose
Connection to the gas distribution network through
a gas hose must be carried out in accordance with
applicable safety regulations. Internal diameter of
the hose employed must be:
- 8 mm for liquefied gas;
-13 mm for methane.
The following safety regulations must be observed
when installing the hose :
* no part of the hose can touch any place whose
temperature exceeds 50°C;
* hose length should not exceed 1500 mm;
* the hose should not be twisted or pulled, bent or
crooked;
* no objects with sharp edges or moving parts
should touch the hose, and it should not be subjected
to any pressure;
* every part of the hose should be accessible for
inspection.
Make sure that both hose ends are firmly connected
and fasten the hose with clamps as required by
security regulations. If any of the above
recommendations is not feasible, flexible metal pipes
should be employed.
If the stove is to be installed according to the class
2 subclass 1 conditions, we recommend using a
flexible metal pipe for connection of the stove to
the gas distribution in accordance with security
regulations.
Threaded connection by a seamless
stainless hose
Remove the hose holder mounted on the appliance.
Appliance gas connection has an external thread
G1/2. Only use material (hoses, sealing elements)
admissible according to currently applicable
regulations. The length of the flexible input must
not exceed 2,000 mm.
Leak check
Important:
After appliance installation, check all
connections for leakage with soapy water. Never
check leakage with a flame. After connecting the
appliance check whether the flexible hose does not
touch moving parts anywhere and whether it's
deformed or damaged.
Connecting the power cord to the
mains
A mains plug conforming to the load must be
attached to the mains cord. If the stove is attached
to the mains directly, a multi-pole switch (breaker)
with contact distance of 3 mm when disengaged
must be inserted between the appliance and the
mains; the switch must be appropriate for the
appliance and it must conform to applicable safety
standards (grounding protection wire must not be
interrupted by the switch).
Power cord must be placed so that it is never
subjected to a temperature that would exceed the
room temperature by 50° C or more. Before carrying
out the connection please check:
* whether the building installation line protection
can bear this appliance's load (see the nameplate);
* Whether the house electric distribution network
features an effective grounding or zeroing protection
system according to directives and legal regulations;
* Whether the power plug or single pole switch are
easily accessible at the installed appliance.
Note:
Never use adaptors, switches or similar
equipment, because you could exceed maximum
power load and maximum input. A fire could start.
Adjusting the stove for various gas
types
If you use a different gas type than what the stove
has been adjusted for (see the nameplate), the
following steps must be carried out:
a)
Replace the installed hose holder with a holder
included in the stove accessories.
Important:
Hose holder for liquefied gas is
identified by No. 8, methane hose holder is identified
by No. 13. Always use a new sealing ring.
b)
Replace burner nozzles on the heating plate:
* Remove the grate and remove the burners from
the plate;
* Unscrew the nozzles with a 7 mm socket wrench
and replace them with sockets appropriate for the
given gas type that you will operate the appliance
with (see Table 1 " Nozzle and burner technical
data").
* Put back all components on correct locations
reversing the procedure.
