5.3 Operating the conventional oven (controlled by single knob)
The oven/grill knob can only be rotated
clockwise from the OFF position (Up to
the grill setting).
Turn the oven on by rotating the oven
knob clockwise.
Adjustment of the temperature in the
oven is also made by using this knob.
«•"The temperature values are written on
the oven control knob. The amber
temperature indicator light on the control
panel will glow until the pre-set
temperature set using the oven knob is
reached. Once the temperature has been
reached, the amber light will go off and
then cycle on and off during use to
maintain the pre-set temperature. The
table is a guide on cooking different types
of food with the related cooking
temperatures.
«•" You can obtain additional energy
savings by switching off the oven five
minutes prior to the end of the cooking
period, provided that the oven door is
not opened.
The stages of the control knob for
conventional ovens
Stage 1 ( 0 ) :
Oven lamp and warning lamps light on.
The heating elements are out of operation.
Stage 2 (75-250 range):
The lower and upper heating
element are on under the thermostat control. The
temperature is adjustable between 75°C and 250°C.
Stage 3
(D): Only the lower heating element is
controlled.
Stage 4 ( 0 ) :
Upper heating element is controlled.
Stage 5
(LJ): Means only the grill heating element is
on.
f 0 j Means both grill element and rôtisserie function
are on.
To set the knob
