Adjusting the White Baiance
Manuaiiy
Use the Manual White Balance Adjustment Mode for all
types of lighting outside the range O ‘'^2), as the
Auto White Balance Adjustment Mode can only ensure
natural colours for the types of lighting within that range.
For optimum results under almost any types of lighting,
we recommend that you adjust the white balance
manually for each new scene, as professionals do.
1 Attach the Lens Cap and zoom in until
the entire screen becomes white.
2 Press the [MENU] Button.
The Menu appears.
3 Turn the [PUSH] Dial to select [MODE].
4 Press the [PUSH] Dial to select [MNL].
5 Turn the [PUSH] Dial to select [WB
SET].
6 Aim the Movie Camera to the subject
and press the [PUSH] Dial to select
[ON].
• When the Indication stops flashing and
remains lit, the Manual White Balance Adjustment
is finished. If you want to use this setting again
later on, for example after having used Automatic
White Balance Adjustment, you can recall it by
setting [WB MODE] to [LOCK] on the Menu. (In this
case, the [tA^] Indication flashing.)
♦ When the [tAd] Indication remains flashing under
weak illumination, manually adjusting the white
balance is not possible.
Returning to the Auto White Balance
Adjustment Mode
Set [WB MODE] on the Menu to [AUTO].
