Playback Digital Fade
There are various Playback Digital Fade Modes available. They
are the same as the Digital Fade Modes that can be used for
recording (-> 78).
The Playback Digital Fade Modes can be used only when the
TBC Function is activated. Make sure that the [TBC] Indication
is displayed. (-► 58)

Set [DIGITAL FADE] on the [FADE SETUP]
Sub-Menu to [ON]. (-» 26)
Set [FADE IN] to the desired Digital Fade
Mode.
Set [FADE OUT] to the desired Digital Fade
Mode.
Set [FADE COLOUR] to the desired colour.
•The colours of the Digital Fade change in the same order
as Camera Mode. (-►78)
Press the [MENU] Button to exit the menu.
During playback, keep the [FADE] Button
pressed.
•The picture disappears gradually with the selected digital
fade effect.
# Release the [FADE] Button at the point where
you wish to fade in.

During playback, press the [FADE] Button at
the point where you want to fade out, and keep
it pressed.
9 After the picture has completely disappeared,
press the [■] Button.
• Playback stops.

URelease the [FADE] Button.
• If you set the [CAMERA/OFFA/CR] Switch to [OFF] and then
set it to [VCR] again, the previously selected Playback Digital
Fade is automatically cancelled.
