Playback Digital Effects
There are various modes available for adding special digital
picture effects to your recordings during playback. They are
identical to the Digital Effects 72) that can be used during
recording.
The Playback Digital Effect Function can be used only when the
TBC Function is activated. Make sure that the [TBC] Indication
is displayed. (-► 58)

After displaying the [DIGITAL EFFECT] Sub-Menu... (-> 26)

Turn the
[ A T ]
Dial to select [DIGITAL
EFFECT].
Press the [SET] Button to select the desired
digital effect.
Turn the
[ A T ]
Dial to select [EFFECT].
Press the [SET] Button to select [ON].
Press the [MENU] Button to exit the menu.
Suspending the Playback Digital Effect Temporarily
Set [EFFECT] on the [DIGITAL EFFECT] Sub-Menu to [OFF].
When the digital effect is temporarily suspended, the indication
of the selected effect flashes.
Cancelling the Playback Digital Effect
Set [DIGITAL EFFECT] on the [DIGITAL EFFECT] Sub-Menu to
[OFF],
• If you set the [CAMERA/OFFA/CR] Switch to [OFF] and then
set it to [VCR] again, the previously selected Playback Digital
Effect is automatically cancelled.
