Recording
After setting the [POWER] Switch to [CAMERA] and the
Mode Selector Switch to [AUTO], you can simply press
the SlarEStop Button to start recording. In this case, the
Movie Camera adjusts the focus and white balance fully
automatically.
• Depending on the light source and recording situation,
correct automatic focusing and while balance
adjustment may not be possible. In such cases, adjust
them manually.
Focus- (-♦ 84): White Balance: (-> 80, 82)
1 Set the [POWER] Switch to [CAMERA].
While pressing the centre button Q. slide the switch
to [CAMERA],
2 Press the Start/Stop Button.
Recording starts.
The (RECORD] Indication appears briefly and then A
changes to [REC]-0 ^
To pause recording:
Press the StarL'Stop Button again.
The [PAUSE] Indication appears. 0
To finish recording;
Set the [POWER] Switch to [OFF],
It IS not necessary to press the centre button in order to
slide the switch to [OFF],
• If you leave the Movie Camera in the Recording Pause
Mode for more than 6 m/nutes, it automatically switches
oft to protect the tape and to conserve battery power. To
resume recording from this condition, set the [POWER]
Switch to [OFF] and then to [CAMERA] again.

Recording Lamp (Tally Lamp)
The Recording Lamp tights 0 during recording to let the
people in front of the Movie Camera know that recording
IS being performed
It you set [REC LAMP] on the [CAMERA MENUS] Menu
to [OFF], the Recording Lamp does not light.
