* Ensure you stand back from the appliance when
opening the oven door to allow any build up of
steam or heat to escape.
If, whilst cooking, steam produced comes in to
contact with cool surfaces on the outside of the
appliance, it will condense and produce water
droplets.
This is quite normal and is not a fault.
Conventional Ovens
( l^j): Oven lamp and warning lamps light on.
Tn^eating elements are out of operation.
(Temperature range):
The lower and upper
heating element are on under the thermostat
control.
5.3 Operating the ovens - controlled by single knob
* The oven/or grill knob can only be rotated clockwise
from the OFF position .
* Turn the oven on by rotating the oven knob
clockwise.
* Adjustment of the temperature in the oven is also
made by using this knob.
*The temperature values are written on the oven
control knob. The amber temperature indicator light
will glow until the pre-set temperature set using the
oven knob is reached. Once the temperature has
been reached, the amber light will go off and then
cycle on and off during use to maintain the pre-set
temperature. The table is a guide on cooking different
types of food with the related cooking temperatures.
* You can obtain additional energy savings by
switching off the oven five minutes prior to the end
of the cooking period, provided that the oven door
is not opened.
( Q): Only the lower heating element is
controlled.
( [^): Upper heating element is controlled.
(D: Means only the grill heating element is
on.
You must bring to the heating control knob to
the maximum temperature.
([^) Means both grill element and rôtisserie
function are on.
To set the knob "0" position after the stage D,
turn the knob in the counter-clockwise direction.
Burning off the protective coating process.
In order to burn off the protective coating remove shelves and baking tray by turning your oven
to 250°C for to 30 minute periods without putting anything into it.
You must ensure this operation is conducted in a well ventilaled area.
