¼ Water escaping from the air outlet
sockets in the appliance
¼ An unusually large pool of water in the
inlet chamber (a few drops is normal)
¼ Unusually intensive formation of foam
in the dirty-water container
¼ No cleaning liquid coming out even
though the pump is switched on
– Is the float in the dirty-water container dirty and no longer in good
condition, i.e. it can no longer react once the container is full?
➔ clean
float and hinge, and dry the appliance.
– Is the dirty-water container fitted with an anti-slosh insert, wet filter and
motor protection filter?
➔ switch off the appliance immediately and dry
it. Fit the missing parts.

Are seals and sealing surfaces extremely dirty?
➔ clean
– Has the wet filter or the anti-slosh insert been forgotten?
➔ check
– Has original THOMAS cleaning concentrate been used?
➔ replace

– Is there any cleaning liquid in the spray tank?

Is the spray nozzle clogged up?
➔ place the nozzle in lukewarm water
for a short while and then blow through it strongly.

Is the tank connection socket clogged up?
➔ remove the fresh-water
container and clean out the tank connection socket (junction with the
fresh-water tank casing) thoroughly with the crevice nozzle to get rid of
any dirt.

Specify the model number and type of
your THOMAS TWIN AQUAFILTER when
contacting your dealer. To ensure your
appliance remains safe to use, you should
have repairs, especially on live parts,
carried out by a trained electrician only.
In the event of a fault, you should therefore
approach your dealer or the THOMAS
Customer Service directly.
