5.3 Wet vacuuming operation
The THOMAS TWIN AQUAFILTER can be used to
vacuum up spilt, harmless water-based liquids
(e.g., juice, coffee, and the like).
Select a suitable nozzle and fit it on the suction pipe or
the handle.
See section 5.2 up to

It is recommended that a maximum of 3
litres of liquid should be vacuumed before
emptying the dirty-water container.
See section 5.2 “Emptying the dirty-water
container”.
5.4 Care and maintenance, after wet
cleaning
Switch off using the main switch and pull out the mains
plug.
J Remove and empty the fresh-water tank (6).
I Remove the dirty-water container (24) from the
appliance by its handle and empty.
Clean anti-slosh insert (22), dirty-water container
(24) and wet filter (23) with clear, possibly warm
water.
Remove impurities from the AQUA injection
nozzle in the air intake fitting (10, illus. G) and on
the inside of the casing cover.
Note!
J To maintain the pump and valves, fill
the fresh-water tank (6) with clear
water and insert.
B Plug the appliance into a mains socket.
Switch on the appliance using the on/
off switch (14) and switch on the pump
using the switch (13).
L Start up the spray system, e.g. over
a basin (activate lever on the cut-out
valve (25)).
B Before releasing the cleaning agent hose (26) first
activate the cut-out valve lever (25, picture
k
L ),
to reduce the residual pressure in the system, then
press the button on the quick-action coupling (8).
After cleaning, allow both containers and all
disassembled parts to dry completely.
H Check the motor protection filter (21) for dirt
and, if necessary, clean under running water or
replace. (replacement art. no. 195 124).
Clean the inlet chamber (58) if necessary, as well
as the underside of the casing cover, with a soft
cloth and dry.
To maintain the casing of the appliance use a damp,
soft cloth.
Do not use any abrasive agents or solvents.
