1. bEfOrE YOU INSTAll
Inspect both product and the contents of the package as soon
as you receive them. Report any transport damages to the
deliverer.
1.1. PACKAGE CONTENTS AND ITS INSPECTION
The stove package contains:
• The stove
• Within the fire compartment
- Installation instructions
- Grate
- Air guide plate
- Connection pipe
- 4 adjustment legs
- Sauna side door handle and attachment screw
- Elevator door handle in KT-H-20 model
• Two steel caps (one on the foremost sweeping hole and
another on the back wall flue hole, which is bolted into place
with a screw driven through the intermediate mantle).
If the separately installable water container package VK-20 has
been ordered, it comes in its own package.
1.2. IMPORTANT MATTERS AND REGULATIONS
These instructions and all relevant official regulations must be
followed during installation and use.
The sauna stove must not be used for any other purposes such
as drying clothes, heavy heating during building etc. The stove
must also never be covered in any way during use or when it
is warm.
Also check the following aspects and their influence on your
choice of stove installation location:
• Safety distances to flammable and non-flammable
structures (chapter 2.3 and 2.4)
• Location of chimney connection (height from floor of
existing chimney connection or installation route of
new chimney pipe) In a wall piercing stove the chimney
always starts from the top, from the hole on the side of
the extension neck. Where necessary, plug the old flue
connection hole with masonry or fire wool.
• Floor material (flammable, non-flammable, tiled and water-
proofed)
• Check the openings, insulation and safety distances of the
wall on the extension neck side, Illustration 1.2.
