Mix Function and Wipe Function
Mix Function:
It gradually fades out a still picture of the last recorded scene
while fading In the moving picture of the new scene.
Wipe Function:
It gradually replaces a still picture of the last recorded scene
with the moving picture of the new scene, like drawing a
curtain.
1 Set [WIPE] or [MIX] from [EFFECT1] on the
[DIGITAL EFFECT] Sub-Menu. (-> 78)
• The [® ] Lamp lights.
•The [WIPE] or [MIX] Indication appears.
2 Press the Recording Start/Stop Button to start
recording normally.
3 Press the Recording Start/Stop Button to stop
recording the scene.
•The last picture is stored in memory.
•The [WIPE] or [MIX] Indication changes to [[¡¡||2|] or
fMl.
4 Press the Recording Start/Stop Button to start
recording the next scene.
•The last picture of the previous scene is gradually
replaced by the new scene.
Cancelling the Mix or Wipe Function
Set [EFFECT1] on the [DIGITAL EFFECT] Sub-Menu to
[OFF].
•All subsequent scene-to-scene transitions will be recorded
with this Mix or Wipe Effect until you cancel the Mix or Wipe
Function.
•The Negative and Solarisation Effects cannot be applied to
a picture stored in the digital image memory for the Mix or
Wipe Function.
