CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Unplug the appliance from the power supply. Before cleaning allow food steamer to cool.

• Empty the water basin.

• Wash lid, bowls, rice bowl in warm, soapy water, rinse and dry.

• Clean water basin with soapy water then wipe with damp cloth.

• Never put appliance into water or flush it with water, just wipe the base with damp cloth.

• Do not use abrasive cleaners.

• The scum may appear on the heating element. If it grows, the steamer could turn off before the food is cooked. So, after 7-10 uses,

pour 3 table spoons of clear vinegar into the water basin then fill water. Do not place lid, bowl, rice bowl in this procedure.

• Plug in and set timer up to 20 minutes. When the timer rings, unplug cord from outlet.

• Use the cold water to rinse the water basin then wipe with damp cloth.
