Notes:

1. When you are not using the phone (for example, when you are not

at home), place the handset on the base unit so that the battery will
always be charged.

2. To ensure the maximum operating distance and noise-free

operation, install the base unit in a convenient location away from
electrical appliances such as a refrigerator, personal computer, TV
or another phone.

3. You can dial a phone number in the pulse or tone mode. To choose

the appropriate mode, just slide the P-T switch [38] to the “Tone”
position for tone dialing and to the “Pulse” position for pulse dialing.
The handset of the ACTIVE XA1001 phone will not operate in case

of a power failure. Therefore, for essential communications such as
medical emergencies you should have another phone that does not
requires an electric mains supply and will be operable in case of a
power failure.

If you are moving during a conversation and noise interferes with

the conversation, this may be caused by some interference, the source
of which is located between the handset and base unit, for example,
you may be too close to another phone or other electric equipment.
Move to another location as far from the interference source as possible
and press the CH button [10]. If you not do this, the call may be
disconnected.
