Handset locator

1. To locate the handset, it is necessary to press the PAGE ))) button

[18] and in so doing the handset will beep.

2. To cancel the handset locator function, press the PAGE ))) button

[18] once again or press the PHONE button [3] on the handset.

ANSWERING MACHINE

Setting the clock

1. Press the CLK

button [26] and hold it for no less than 2 seconds.

You will hear 'Sunday'.

2. Using the << [23] è >> [24] buttons select the correct day of the

week.

3. Press the CLK

button [26] again. You will hear ‘1 AM’

4. Using the << [23] è >> [24] buttons set the correct hour.
5. Press the CLK

button [26] again. You will hear ‘00'.

6. Using the << [23] è >> [24] buttons set the correct minute.
7. Press the CLK

button [26] once again. The answering machine

will say the day of the week and time you have set.

Note:
If you want to know the time, just press the CLK

button [26]. The

answering machine will say the day of the week and time. If you do not
set the clock yet, you will hear two beeps.

Recording ‘outgoing message 1’ (OGM1)

The OGM1 is used in the normal answering machine mode, when

the answering machine offers to leave a message. The standard pre-
recorded 'outgoing message 1' (OGM1) is as follows: “Please leave
your message after the tone”. You can record any other 'outgoing
message' with up to 60 seconds duration.
1. Press and hold the OGM1 button [25] until a short beep is heard.
2. After the beep say your message talking clearly as close to the

base unit microphone as possible.

3. To stop recording, press the STOP button [16]. Your new message

will be automatically played after the end of recording. If you want
to record a new message, repeat the above steps.

Recording ‘outgoing message 2’ (OGM2)

The OGM2 is used in the ’Answer only' mode, when the answer-

ing machine offers to call back later and the caller is not able to leave
a message for you. The standard pre-recorded 'outgoing message 2'
(OGM2) is as follows: “Please call later”. You can record any other
'outgoing message' with up to 15 seconds duration.
1. Press and hold the OGM2 button [12] until a short beep is heard.
2. Say your message talking clearly as close to the base unit

microphone as possible.

3. To stop recording, press the STOP button [16]. Your new message

will be automatically played after the end of recording. If you want
to record a new message, repeat the above steps.

Setting the answering mode

When setting the message on the answering machine you can select

one of two options: the normal answering machine mode (OGM1) and
