If you have entered the correct code, you will hear a beep and

your answering machine now is in the normal answering mode
(OGM1). If you are not going to perform any other operations, just
hang up.

If you often keep your answering machine turned on while being

at home, you can give the CBT (Call Break-Through) code to several
people (e.g. your family) and they will be able to alert you about their
calls.

The CBT code consists of four digits whilst the factory preset is

0001.

Setting the CBT code

1. Press and hold the << button [23] for 2 seconds until you here the

words ‘Please enter the CBT Code’ and then you will hear 'zero'.

2. Using the << [23] and >> [24] buttons select the first digit of the

code.

3. Press the ANS ON/OFF button [27] to confirm the selected digit.
4. Using the << [23] and >> [24] buttons select the second digit of

the code.

5. Press the ANS ON/OFF button [27] to confirm the selected digit.
6. Using the << [23] and >> [24] buttons select the third digit of the

code.

7. Press the ANS ON/OFF button [27] to confirm the selected digit.
8. Using the << [23] and >> [24] buttons select the fourth digit of the

code.

9. Press the ANS ON/OFF button [27] to finish the code setting.

Using the CBT code

If you are at home and your answering machine is on, then the

callers knowing the CBT code can alert you to answer their calls.
To do this, a caller should:
1. Wait for the answering machine to answer.
2. During the 'Outgoing message' (OGM) playback press the '*'

(asterisk) button twice.

3. Wait for a long beep.
4. Enter the CBT code.
5. After entering of the CBT code a beep will also be heard.

When the caller enters the VIP-code your answering machine will

sound a long (30 seconds) loud beep alerting you to answer the call.
