INSTALLING AND
CONNECTING
1. Insert the rechargeable battery [30] into the battery compartment
[31] on the handset [1], then close the battery compartment with
the cover [42] (see Fig. C).
2. Insert a 9V battery (6F22 type) into the battery compartment [35]
on the base unit [28] then close the compartment [35] with the
cover [36] and fasten the cover [36] with the screw [37] (see
Fig. D).
3. Connect one end of the phone line cord [42] to the phone line jack
[40] at the base unit [28] rear side, and the other end of the phone
line cord [42] to the phone line socket.
4. Insert the AC adapter [41] cable plug into its jack [39] at the base
unit [28] rear side. Insert the AC adapter [41] plug into a wall
outlet of your 220V electric mains (see Fig. E).
5. Place the handset [1] on the base unit [28] (see Fig. B). Before
initial use you should fully charge the battery for about 15 hours.
When you place the handset [1] on the base unit [29] for charging,
you should hear a short beep.
