Adjusting the Shutter Speed
Manually
To achieve special creative effects or to cope with special
lighting situations, you can adjust the shutter manually,

Set the Mode Selector Switch to [MNL],
The [MNL] and the Shutter Speed Indications appear
together.

Turn the [PUSH] Dial to adjust the shutter
speed.
You can change between the Shutter Speed
Indication and the Iris (F Number) (-► 88) Indication
by repeatedly pressing the [PUSH] Dial.
Range of Shutter Speed Adjustment
1/50-1/4000 s
The standard shutter speed is 1/50 s.
The nearer to [1/4000] a setting you select, the faster the
shutter speed becomes.
Returning to the Normal Shutter Speed
Set the Mode Selector Switch to [AUTO],
86-
