Attachment:
• Insert the hooked list located onto the upper side of

the frame under the upper edge of the body.

• Push the frame against the body so that the lower

edge of the frame is tightly onto and against the
lower side of the body.

• Fix the frame with the screws (2 pieces).

TS-56, 57: Removing the front frame:
• First pull out the air deflectors (fig. 1 and 2 part 1)

located on top and under the insert.

• Then loosen the 4 screws on the corners of the

frame.

• Remove the frame.

When the preparation of the furnace and the fireplace
insert is completed, the insert can be fitted in the
fireplace. See section 3.3.

3.4.1 Changing the opening direction of the doors
It is easier to change the direction of the door before the
insert is fitted.

TS-12, -26,-36, -56, -57: It is not possible to change
the opening direction.

TS-21: Changing the opening direction:
• Detach the front frame according the section 3.4.

• Remove the pins and washers from the hinges at

the same time supporting the door to prevent
dropping it.

• Turn the frame upside down (the upper side down)

and fit it back to the insert.

• Match the door hinges together and insert the pins

into the hinges (washers under the hinge part of the
door, 1 piece/hinge).

• Remove the latch screw, turn the latch upside down

(the long side of the handle down) and tighten the
screw.

• Remove the screw, located on the left down edge of

the frame, and attach it to the right down side.
Tighten the screw.

• Adjust the key in the latch hole (hole where the key

goes) so that on the upper corner of the door (on
the hinge side of the door) there is a gap of about 1
mm. If necessary, adjust also the hinge sleeves
with a screwdriver and pliers in order to attain the
required gap. Do not wrench the door - the glass
may get broken!

• Check that the door is straight in relation to the

frame.

• The front frame can now be fitted in place, or later

when the insert is fitted in the fireplace, if it is
difficult to do the sealing in this way.

Model 77: Changing the direction of opening:
• Open the door

• Loosen the middle screw on the latch (part 2) and

pull out the locking plate (part 5) and the latch (part
3) (fig. 8).

• Turn the latch upside down.

• Insert the latch and the locking plate in place.

Tighten the nut (part 1), but not too much, because

the latch must be able to move. Lock with the other
nut.

• Pull the door fully open, holding the door firmly

with the other hand.

• Loosen the hinge screw and lift the hinge plate

against the upper plate. Loosen the hinge screw
and push the hinge plate against the upper plate.
Pull out the upper side of the frame (fig. 7).

• Pull the lower side of the frame outwards and put

the frame on the floor.

• Put the hinge back in place

Turn the door upside down.

• Detach the other hinge.

• Place the lower pin of the door into its hole in the

body.

• The door should be fully open.

• Insert the pin of the uppermost hinge into the hole

in the upper plate and against it.

• Place the door under the hinge and insert the pin

into the hole in the door, matching the notches
together.

• Fix the hinge with the screw.

Check that the door works correctly.

3.5. Open installation
If the opening of the fireplace is so large that the above
described installation method cannot be used, the insert
can be installed openly in the furnace (fig. 2).
The base of the opening must be flat, see section 3.2.
Fit the insert in the furnace. If necessary, the front frame
can be removed by loosening the screws. In the open
installation the frame of the insert acts as a sealing to
create the necessary draught. In this case the flue
opening of the fireplace is connected to the chimney by
a flexible KASTOR - INOX S pipe. The connection
between the flue opening and the chimney can be
sealed up using, for example mineral wool and special
furnace mixture (the mineral wool can be ”dampened” in
the mixture) - before that the chimney must be
cleaned to ensure proper bond
- and the pipe is
connected to the insert by means of a special
connecting sleeve (special order).

body

*) the minimum height of the opening 470 mm is
achieved by removing the bracing (height 40 mm) on
the underside. Note! In this case the front of the frame
projects 40 mm below the base.
**) Depends on the model, refer to V-models in the
above table.
***) Sealed with mesh, 100mm.
