11. TROUBLE SHOOTING
You may trouble shoot the following faults according to the solutions. Please consult your dealer should you encounter
other faults.
Faults Reasons Solutions
No reaction when powered on.
Power not plug on. Plug on the power.
Bad AC socket contact. Change another power socket.
The display is OK, but no sound.
Source not connected. Check all connection.
Power amps not switched on. Turn on the power amps.
Bad signal source. Check signal source.
Volume turned to minimum. Turn on the volume.
Muting is on. Defeat the muting.
Display OK, but no Dolby Digital or
DTS decoding.
Optical link not connected. Check optical link connection.
Coaxial cable not a 75 ohm one. Change to a standard coaxial cable.
Using a DVD without Dolby Digital or
DTS encoding. Change to a Dolby Digital & DTS
encoded DVD.
The input is a analogue audio signal. Connect to the right input socket.
Display OK, but no surround.
Wrong mode selected. Select the correct mode.
The source is not a Dolby surround
material. Change to a right source.
Unstable noise.
Bad signal connection. Check signal connection.
Noisy signal source. Change source.
Remote control not working. Bad batteries or wrongly inserted. Check batteries.
Remote control unit placed too far
away. Place the unit nearer.
Control angle too large. Minimize the control angle.
