Is there a Problem?

Green LED does not light up
Have you c hec ked whether:
 The m ain switc h for the power supply to the apart-
m ent or hom e has been turned off;
 The plug is properly inserted in the outlet;
 The outlet is adequate; try inserting the plug into an-
other outlet in the room .
The refrigerator and the freezer do not cool properly.
Have you c hec ked whether:
 The doors do not c lose well or the seals are faulty;
 The doors are left open too long;
 The therm ostat knob is not on the proper setting;
 The refrigerator or freezer is overfilled.
The food in the refrigerator becomes too cold.
Have you c hec ked whether:
 The therm ostat knob is on the proper setting;
 The food is in c ontac t with the bac k wall - whic h is
the c oldest part.
The motor runs continuously.
Have you c hec ked whether
 The doors are not c losed well or have rem ained
open too long;
 The am bient tem perature is too high;
 The therm ostat knob is not on the proper setting.
The appliance makes too much noise.
The gas refrigerant produc es a slight noise even when the
c om pressor is not running (this is not a defec t).
Have you c hec ked whether:
 The refrigerator is levell.
 The applianc e was installed between c abinets or ob-
jec ts that vibrate and m ake noise.
There is water on the bottom of the refrigerator.
Have you c hec ked whether:
 The hole for draining the water from the frost is
c logged (see fig. 1).
If after all the c hec ks, the applianc e still does not operate
or the problem persists, c all the nearest Servic e Centre
and inform them of: the type of problem , the abbreviation
of the m odel nam e (Mod.) and the relative num bers (S/N)
written on the rating plate loc ated at the bottom left next
to the vegetable c risper (see exam ples in the figures be-
low).
Never call on unauthorized technicians and always re-
fuse spare parts, which are not originals.

- As a result of therm al strain for c om ponents of a
refrigerator applianc e c an be heard c rac kling noise
that is not a defec t and doesn’t affec t effic ienc y of
the applianc e. This spec ial sound when the
therm oregulator and c om pressor are turned on is a
norm al state, whic h appears during the working
proc ess of the applianc e’s elec tric installation.
- After som e tim e the c olor of indic ator lam p c an be
c hanged and c olor depth c an be dec reased, it
should be c onsidered as natural proc ess and you
shouldn’t worry about it. - Replac ing the lam p. The lam p for lighting the
interior of the applianc e is loc ated at the bac k of the
lam p box. Unsc rew the burnt lam p and replac e it
with another lam p of no m ore than 15 Watt, follow
the instruc tions illustrated in fig. 3
