NOTICE
After the appliance has been delivered, stand it in
the upright position and wait approximately 3 hours
before connecting it to the electrical outlet to guar-
antee that it operates prorerly.
Before plac ing foodstuffs in the refrigerator or freezer,
c lean the interior well with warm water and baking
soda.

After having plugged the applianc e in, m ake sure that pilot
lam p “A” is light.
Set knob ‘B’ onto a m edium position and c an plac e food in the
fridge after only a few hours.
When the freezer has reac hed the optim um tem perature, you
c an plac e frozen food in the freezer.

The therm ostat autom atic ally regulates the tem perature
inside the applianc e
1 = less c old
5 = c older
It is rec om m ended that a m edium setting be used.
To inc rease the am ount of spac e, optim ize arrangem ent
and im prove appearanc e, this applianc e has a “c ooling
area” loc ated within the bac k panel of the refrigerator
c om partm ent.
When the applianc e is operating, this panel m ay be
c overed with frost or droplets of water depending on

whether the c om pressor is operating or not at a set tim e.
Do not be c onc erned about this! The refrigerator is
operating norm ally.
If the therm ostat knob is positioned on higher settings
while the refrigerator is heavily filled and the am bient tem -
perature is high, the applianc e m ay run c ontinuously, re-
sulting in the form ation of frost on the bac k c ooling area.
This will lead to an inc rease in energy c onsum ption.
To avoid this situation, just turn the thermostat knob to a
lower setting so that the appliance defrosts auto-
matically.

Garlic (transm its odour), onions and leeks.
Bananas (they will turn blac k).
Citrus fruits.
Potatoes and root vegetables (store in dark, dry plac es).

- Within the refrigerator c om partm ent, the air c irc ulates
naturally, with the c older air falling down bec ause it is
heavier. This is the reason why m eat and c heeses should
be plac ed above the vegetable c ontainer.
- Please follow our instruc tions c arefully on m axim um stor-
age tim e: any food, even the freshest, will not rem ain edi-
ble for any extended am ount of tim e.
- Do not plac e liquids in c ontainers without c overing them
bec ause this will lead to an inc rease in the level of m ois-
ture within the refrigerator, c ausing the form ation of frost.
- Rem em ber to c ool hot food before storing otherwise the
tem perature inside the applianc e will inc rease, c ausing
the c om pressor to work harder and use m ore energy.
- Contrary to popular belief, c ooked foods are not stored
any longer than raw food.
- The refrigerator c om partm ent is equipped with c onven-
ient, rem ovable shelves, whic h c an be adjusted for
height using the shelf guides. This allows you to plac e even
large c ontainers and foodstuffs in the refrigerator.

- Be c areful not to plac e c ontainers (plastic or glass), food
or other objec ts in direc t c ontac t with the c ooling area of
the bac k wall of the refrigerator. This c ould harm the food,
in-c rease energy c onsum ption and fac ilitate the form ation
of c ondensate (on food, c ontainers, etc .).
