Confirming the indications on the
LCD Monitor or in the Finder
When you record with the LCD Monitor facing forward,
the following indications can appear on the LCD Monitor
or in the Finder: Remaining Battery indication
Recording Mode Indication (•], the Recording Pause
Mode Indication [I I •] and General Warning/Alarm
Indication [[T]l {■♦ 114). On the LCD Monitor, they
appear as mirror-images of the indications in the Finder
as shown above.

0 Indication in the Finder
If you want to confirm indications that cannot
be displayed on the LCD Monitor and in the
Finder, when the LCD Monitor turned forward,
proceed as follows:
Turn the LCD Monitor so that it faces
backwards as shown above ©, or close
the LCD Monitor with the screen facing
outwards, as shown above

• If you turn the LCD Monitor so that it faces forward,
the Finder also automatically turns on. However, in
the following cases, the Finder turns off:
• Pressing the ¡VCR/CAMERA] Button to switch
the Movie Camera over to the [VCR] Mode.
• Closing the LCD Monitor with the screen facing
outwards (as shown above

• When General Warning/Alarm Indication [[T]]
appears on the LCD Monitor, turn the LCD Monitor
so that it faces backward, and the actual
warning/alarm indication then appears on the LCD
Monitor,
• It is not possible to insert the Date and Time
Indications while recording with the LCD Monitor
facing forward,
• When the LCD Monitor is facing forward, the picture
on the LCD Monitor is a mirror image. However, the
picture is recorded correctly (non reversed).
