! Prior to first use iron a clean old piece of cotton cloth to make sure
the sole plate and the water tank are absolutely clean (see
subsection «Steam ironing Steam ironing Steam ironing Steam ironing Steam ironing»).
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1) Place the iron into a vertical position.
2) Insert the power plug into the mains supply
outlet.
3) The fabric setting «РЕЖИМЫ» and « »
light in blue on the display (8), at the same
time, the colour changeable indicators (10)
at two sides of reservoir light in blue.
4) Turn the Select Knob (7) (7) (7) (7) (7) to the Dry iron position « » (see subsec-
tion «Select Knob Functions Select Knob Functions Select Knob Functions Select Knob Functions Select Knob Functions»).
5) Press the « » indicator on the display (see Figure B see Figure B see Figure B see Figure B see Figure B) to set the
fabric type according to recommended temperature settings (see
the manufacturer’s label). Allow the iron to be heated up until the
Fabric Setting indicator light stops blinking and the buzzer beeps.
Note: During operation of the appliance the light indicator
(10) will light up and turn off periodically; this is
normal and not a malfunction.
Select Knob Functions
Dry ironing
Dry ironing can be used at any temperature setting.
To do this the Select Knob (7) (7) (7) (7) (7) must be turn to the Dry iron
position « ».
Steam ironing
If you intend to use the steam function, allow the iron to heat to
the required temperature level then turn the Select Knob (7) (7) (7) (7) (7) to the
desired steam output.
Attention: The «Drip Stop» system automatically
terminates the steam generation process if the selected
temperature is too low. When the system is activated,
you may hear a click.
Turbo steam
To ease ironing of dense cotton, linen and upholstery articles
turn the Select Knob (7) (7) (7) (7) (7) to the position « », then press the Select
Knob (7) (7) (7) (7) (7) for an extra blast of steam: engagement of the button
during the ironing process generates an extra burst of steam from
the sole plate to help remove stubborn creases.
Burst of steam in a vertical position
This function helps to fresh the appearance of curtains, jackets,
coats, etc. To use this function, take the following steps:
