fIlterIng system
Thefilterpreventslargerremnantsoffoodorotherobjectsfromgettinginsidethe
pump.Theresiduesmayblockthefilter,inthiscasetheymustberemoved.
Thefiltersystemconsistsofacoarsefilter,aflat(Mainfilter)Andamicrofilter(Fine
filter).
1. Mainfilter
 Foodandsoilparticlestrappedinthisfilterarepul-
verizedbyaspecialjetonthelowersprayarmand
washeddownthedrain.
2. Coarsefilter
 Largeritems,suchaspiecesofbonesorglass,that
couldclogthedrainaretrappedinthecoarsefil-
ter.Toremoveanitemcaughtinthisfilter,gently
squeezethetapsonthetopofthisfilterandliftit
out.
3. Finefilter
 This filter holds soil and food residues in the sump
areaandpreventsitfrombeingredepositonthe
dishesduringacycle.
Note:
• Inspect the filters for blocking after every time the dishwasher has been used.
• By unscrewing the coarse filter, you can remove the filter system. Remove any
food remnants and clean the filters under running water.

Note:
• When following this procedure from step 1 to step 3, the filter system will be
removed;
