DVD Playback:

region code:

DVD players and discs are coded by geographic region as mandated by industry standards.

These regional codes must match the disc you’re attempting to play on this device. If the

codes don’t match, the disc will not play. This player’s default code is region 5.

PLEASE NOTE:

The manufacturer does not set or enforce regional playback codes for DVDs. Please insure

that the DVD you own or purchase is coded for use in the market where this product is sold;

which is region 5.

Auto DVD Function

Whether it is in DVD mode, when inserting a disc into the disc tray, the unit will shift to DVD

mode and start playback automatically; when ejecting the disc, it will return to the prior mode

automatically.

play:

Press the “▶” “PLAY” button to start disc playback.

stop:

Press the “■” “STOP” button once to stop playback and press the “▶” “PLAY” button to re-

sume normal playback. Press this button twice repeatedly to stop playback completely.

pause:

Press the “II” “PAUSE” button to pause playback; press the “▶” “PLAY” button to resume

normal playback.

previous and next:

Press the “I◀◀/▶▶I” button and the player will begin playback from the beginning of the

previous/next chapter or track.

fast playback:

Press the “◀◀” or “▶▶” “FWD/REV SCAN” button on the remote control to activate fast for-

ward or backward playback while viewing a program. This feature allows you to search with a

moving picture quickly for pervious or future sections of content. During fast playback, press

the “▶” “PLAY” button to resume normal playback.

slow playback:

Press the “SLOW” button to activate slow forward playback. During slow playback, press the “▶”

“PLAY” button to resume normal playback.

PLEASE NOTE:

There is no slow playback feature when playing audio CDs, or CD Videos.

repeat:

Use the “REPEAT” button sequentially to repeat a chapter, title or to cancel repeat. Use the

“A-B” button on the remote control to repeat a section A to B. The player can repeat any sec-

tion A-B. Press once to set the starting point A, the section time to set the ending point B, and

the third time to cancel repeat.

PLEASE NOTE:

Certain discs do not support repeat functions; this is not a defect of the display device.

menu:

Typically, there is a main options menu for most DVD discs. Press the red “MENU” button to

enter this section and use the direction buttons to highlight an item for selection. Press the

“ENTER” button to confi rm your selection.

title & chapter:

Typically, there are several separate programs on DVD discs. A number of chapters (sec-

tions) can also exist within a DVD title. You can select any title or chapter quickly by entering

the number, which will immediately scan to that portion of the disc and play.

subtitle:

The DVD player can support multiple types of subtitles. When you play a multi-subtitle disc

you can use the “SUBTITLE” button to select different subtitle versions.
