Preparation for Use
Filling the water tank
l Make sure the iron is switched off.
l Carefully remove the water fill cov-
er.
l Using a small cup, carefully fill the
iron up to the maximum level,
never overfill
l Replace the cover.
l If the water in the local area is
hard we recommend using 50%
distilled water and 50% tap wa-
ter.(never use only distilled water)
Setting the Temperature
l Put the iron on its heel
l Set the required temperature by
rotating the dial until the desired
setting is obtained, check the sew
in label in the clothing to deter-
mine the material used.
- ● Synthetics, acetate, acrylic, poly-
imide, nylon, polyester, viscose
- ●● Silk
- ●●● Cotton/Linen
l Note: The iron is only intended to
produce steam on the ●●● setting
l Now plug in the iron and wait for
the indicator light to go out, the
iron is now ready to use.
l If required extra steam can be
generated using the steam burst
button.

Holding the
iron over a
sink press
the extra
steam but-
ton a few
times, this
should flush
the flake out
of the iron.
Turn off and
allow to
cool, then
wipe the
soleplate
several
times with a
damp cloth
to remove
any resi-
dues.
