Changing the ringer volume
1. Press the VOLUME/RINGER button [7] (the ringer volume
cannot be changed during a call), the indicator light [2] lights up.
2. Press the ∗∗∗∗∗ button to increase the ringer volume, press the # button
to decrease the ringer volume.
3. Press the VOLUME/RINGER button [7] once again, the
indicator light [2] goes out.
Adjusting handset earpiece volume
During a call you can adjust the handset earpiece volume. To do
this, press the VOLUME/RINGER button [7] during the
conversation.
Using the base unit
Speakerphone
Changing the Speakerphone volume
To change the speakerphone volume use the control [17] on
the side of the base unit.
Making calls using the Speakerphone
1. Press the SPEAKERPHONE button [14], the indicator light [12]
starts to flash.
2. Dial a phone number using the dialing buttons [9] on the base unit.
Answering calls using the Speakerphone
To answer a call using the speakerphone, press the SPEAKER-
PHONE button [14], the indicator light [12] starts to flash.
Finishing calls
To finish a call, press the SPEAKERPHONE button [14], the indica-
tor light [12] will go out.
Redialing the last dialed number
1. Press the SPEAKERPHONE button [14].
2. Press the LNR/P button [6] and the last dialed number will be
automatically redialed. (You can redial a number consisting of no
more than 32 digits.)
Handset locator
1. To locate the handset, it is necessary to press the PAGE ))) button
[16] and in so doing the handset will beep.
2. To cancel the handset locator function, press the PAGE ))) button
[16] once again or press the PHONE button [3] on the handset.
Transferring a call from the base unit to the
handset
1. During a call in the Speakerphone mode press the PAGE ))) button
[16] on the base unit.
2. Press the PHONE button [3] on the handset to receive the call. The
base unit will automatically disconnect from the call.
Transferring a call from the handset to the base
unit
1. During a call using the handset press the SEC/HOLD button [4].
