The graphical symbols marked on the back cover of the set mean the following explana
tion.

The lighting flash with arrowhead symbol, inside the equilateral triangle, is
intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated DANGEROUS
VOLTAGE within the product's enclosure that may be of sufficient magni
tude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.

The exclamation point with an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the
user to the presence of important operating and maintenance (servicing)
Instructions in the literature accompanying the appliance.

PLEASE READ AND OBSERVE ALL WARNINGS AND INSTRUCTIONS LISTED
BELOW WHICH RETAIN THIS MANUAL FOR REFERENCE.
This unit has been engineered and manufactured to assure you personal safety. However,
improper use can potentially result in electrical shock or fire hazard. In order not to defeat
the safeguards incorporated into this television, observe all the following basic rules for
installation, use and servicing.
1. Your television is fully electronic and does not any user serviceable parts. Hence,

DON'T REMOVE THE CABINET COVER OF THIS UNIT IN WHICH MAY EXPOSE YOU TO
DANGEROUS VOLTAGES. Please refer all servicing to a qualified service technician.

2. After unpacking the television, check it carefully for possible damage. If any is found,

do not insert batteries or plug it into an outlet of your television.

3. Use only the AC and DC adapters included with your TV unit. Others adapters with

wrong specifications may damage your set.

4. When using the optional AC adapter, it is important that the AC current is either in 110V

or 220 V (optional) 50/60 Hz the AC adapter is equipped with a polarized alternating
current line plug (where one blade of plug is larger than the other). This plug will fit into
the power outlet only one way. This is designed a safety feature. If you are unable to
insert the plug fully into the outlet, try reversing the position of the plug. If the plug
should still fail to fit, please contact your electrician to replace the obsolete outlet. Do
not attempt to defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug by forcing it. This will
only damage your adapter and outlet.

5. Don't use power cords or plugs that have been damaged or frayed.
6. Slot and holes at the top of the cabinet's, sides and bottom are provided for ventila

tion. To prevent your television from overheating, please do not block or cover these
openings.
