Key locking
Key locking function is available at any time of the ope­
ration. To lock the device or avoide occasionable pres­
sures turn off the lock key on the top panel into a right­
most position. Turn the key back to unlock the device.
Charging of the e-book reader
Fully charge the battery before the first using.
Connect the device to the PC via USB-cabel or to the
power grid 220 V via adapter.
Time of full charging via adapter takes 2.5 hours, via
USB-port takes 5 hours. It depends to the level of bat­
tery charging. Duration of first battery charging should
take at least 2.5 hours.
Note
Do not turn on the discharged device immediately after the
beginning of battery charging. Wait at least for a minute and
then switch on the battery.
Charging process will stop automatically when battery is
fullcharged. The indicator at main menu will change to:

In no case do not use damage USB-cable or adapter to avoid a
short-circuit, fire or electric injury.
Incomplete battery charge reduces the battery life.
At the start of using device, please, make 10 cycles of
full charging and recharging to disperse the battery to
full capacity.
For optimal use of lithium-battery follow below steps:
• do not charge the battery in the places with high
temperature;
• device has not be almast discharged before the
next charging;
