BEFORE USE

installation

After

unpacking,

check

the

contents.

If

a

part

is

missing

or

damaged,

please

consult

your

dealer.

There

may

be

moisture

inside

the

main

unit

(water

tank

and

suction

hose).

This is moisture left from the distilled

water used for product testing and is

hygienicaliy safe.

Cord (Fig.2)

Pass the cord through the cord guides

to the right or left as required.

Wall attachment (Fig.3)

1. Attach the two screws to the wall.

These screws are for insertion in

a wood wall only.

2. Hook the charger onto these screws.

3. Plug in the power cord.

• Do not use the charger in a shower

stall or other area with running wa­

ter that can come in direct contact

with the charger.

Do not remove the plug from the

electrical outlet with wet hands.

• Be sure to use only a 100-240 VAC,

50-60 Hz power supply.

CHARGING THE UNIT

Be sure to fully charge the main unit

for at least 15 hours:

1 ) before using for the first time;

2)

when you have not used the unit

for more than three months; or

3)

if the unit runs out of power dur­

ing use.

1. Plug the charger into the socket.

2. Turn off the unit and place it up­

right in the charger (Fig.4).

The

charging

Indicator

will

light

up.

3.

Be sure to place the unit upright.

If the unit Is tilted or not in direct

contact with the charger, the unit

may not charge properly.

• The unit charges whenever it is

placed in the charger.

The indicator light does not go

off even after the unit is fully

charged.

The charging indictor may not

light

for

several

minutes

when

the

rechargeable

batteries

are

completely

discharged.

This

is

normal.

The unit will provide an opera­

tion

time

of

approximately

15

minutes of use when the battery

is fully charged.

The operating duration will be­

come

shorter

as

the

batteries

get older.

CAUTION;

• Do not leave metal objects, such as

coins or paper clips, on top of the

charger.

They

may

become

very

warm.

• Do not use if the cord or plug is

damaged, or if the cord does not

fit tightly into the wall socket. The

supply cord cannot be replaced. If

the

cord

is

damaged,

the

appli­

ance should be scrapped.

Always switch off the device be­

fore

placing

it

into

the

charging

stand, if not switched off, the de­

vice will start operating as soon as

it is lifted from the charging stand.

Do not recharge with water In the

water tank.

• If the device will not be used for a

week or more, disconnect the cord

from the wall socket.

During charging, the unit will get

warm, but this is normal.

Use

only

the

exclusive

charger

provided.

• If the unit operates only for a short

time after being fully charged, this

means that the batteries are near­

ing the end of their life cycle. Take

the

unit

to

an

authorised

service

centre

to

have

the

batteries

re­

placed.

Use

the

unit

within

an

ambient

temperature range of 0“- 40“C.
