Introduction
Mongoose IQ 200/1 is a modern car security system, designed and
manufactured to meet the following requirements:
A high security level. The system monitors the status of pin switches at
the doors, hood and trunk, two two zone shock sensors and the optional
space disturbance. Alarm signals are output to the siren with a power up
to 25 W, the car’s proper klaxon or pager, and the parking lights.
Enhanced anti theft properties are ensured by a powerful built in blocking
relay and a universal output to organise an extra blocking circuit
according to a normally closed as well as normally opened contacts
algorithm.
A maximal fault free service life. The system features a surface mounting
technique, an impact resistant body with a minimal area of service
holes (dust and drip proof), a non volatile storage of the controlling
chip processor operating mode, and special circuits to protect the system
module against interference and overloading.
A convenient mounting procedure. The number of circuits to be
connected has been minimised; variable functions of the inputs and
outputs add flexibility to the mounting procedure; optional sensors and
other equipment can be connected. Built in relays are used to connect
high current circuits. All connectors are situated on one side of the
module.
