How to Copy from the Movie
Camera onto a VCR (Dubbing)
Connect with the Audio/Video Cable, as shown above.
■ Operations
Playback Unit (Movie Camera): 0< ©. O
Recording Unit (VCR): (3), (5), (§)
0 Insert the recorded video cassette for playback
into the Movie Camera.
© Play back the tape and stop playback at the point
where you want the dubbing to start.
(^ Insert the video cassette for recording into the
VCR and put it in the Recording Pause Mode.
Also read the operating instructions of the VCR.
The picture quality deteriorates slightly in the dubbing
process, however, this can be minimized by selecting
the standard recording speed (SP Mode) on the VCR
and by setting the Edit Switch (if equipped) to “ON”.
O start playback.
Press the Pause/Still Button to start recording.
(6) Press the Pause/Still Button at the point where
you want the dubbing to end.
The VCR is now in the recording pause mode.
(7) For each further scene that you want to dub,
perform steps Q, 0, @ and (6) above.
■ Edit Socket [EDIT]
By connecting an Editing Controller (optional) to this
socket as well as to a VCR equipped with an Edit
Socket, you can edit quickly and precisely.
