. Set switch FUNCTION into position OFF if
you have finished listening.
Antenna
Drew antenna out completely for better FM re-
ceiving and turn it in appropriate direction.
Setting up bass amplification BASS
Press button BASS on remote control to en-
hance low frequencies. String «BASS ON» ap-
pears on LCD.
Press this button once more to switch off bass
booster. String «BASS OFF» appears on LCD.
CD playback
Loading disk: open disk compartment by press-
ing button OPEN/CLOSE. Insert CD and close
the cover.
Taking disk out: after playback is stopped, open
compartment cover and take disk out of it. Put
disk into case.
Always close cover of disk compartment to pro-
tect it against dust. If you do not playback disk,
always take it out of compartment.
. Switch player on.
2. Choose CD playback mode by putting
switch FUNCTION into CD position. String
«CD» appears on LCD in result.
3. In case there is no disk in compartment or
disk is damaged string «NO DISC» appears
on LCD.
. Open disk compartment by pressing button
OPEN/CLOSE. Install disk inside and
close the cover. Make sure disk is installed
properly: label should face upwards.
Indication of disk reading (READING)
appears on LCD.
. After that number of tracks, total playback
time and symbols of CD format «CD» appear
on LCD. Disk playback starts automatically.
Notice: This unit plays back CD-R and CD-RW
disks.
6. To pause playback press button PLAY/
PAUSE in playback mode, playback time
starts blinking as result.
7. To resume playback press button PLAY/
PAUSE once more.
8. To stop playback press button STOP.
Number of tracks and total playback time
appears on LCD.
Notice: If disk compartment cover is opened,
string «OPEN» appears on LCD.
