To Fill and Refi ll the Spray
• Remove the collar from your dog.
• Turn the unit OFF.
• Ensure the Refi ll Port is clean.
Note: If any dirt or debris enters the Refi ll Port when refi lling,
it could cause the unit to become clogged and malfunction.
Please read the “Tips and Maintenance” section for
proper care.
• Set the device on a fl at surface with the Refi ll Port (deepest
cavity) turned upwards.
• Hold the refi ll Spray Can upright and fi rmly press the nozzle
down into the Refi ll Port. Hold down fi rmly for 10 seconds and
release. Press down for another 10 seconds, then release again. You cannot overfi ll
the device.
Note: If spray leaks out, you may need to press harder to complete the seal.
• Turn the unit ON.
Do not puncture or incinerate the spray collar or the refi ll spray can.
Do not expose to extreme heat or store at temperatures above
50° C (122°F).
Refi ll spray cans are available. Choose from Citronella or Unscented spray. Contact the
Customer Centre or visit our website at www.innotek.net to locate a retailer near you.
What to Expect During Use of the
Anti-Bark Spray Collar™
Important: Do not leave your dog alone the fi rst few times he wears the Anti-Bark Collar™.
Place the Anti-Bark Spray Collar™ properly on your dog and wait nearby until he barks. Most
dogs will understand very quickly that the Anti-Bark Spray Collar™ is disrupting their urge to
bark and will relax and stop barking. Because the burst of Spray from the Anti-Bark Spray
Collar™ may be surprising or startling at fi rst, some dogs may bark more at the initial correction.
On rare occasions, a dog may get into a bark-spray-bark-spray cycle. If this happens,
reassure your dog with calm, soothing tones. As your dog relaxes, he will understand that if he
becomes quiet, he will not receive any more spray bursts. The small minority of dogs that have
this reaction should only have it the fi rst time they wear the Anti-Bark Spray Collar™.
You should notice a reduction in your dog’s barking within the fi rst couple of days that he
wears the Anti-Bark Spray Collar™. At this point, it is important to remember the learning
