Remove the SAFBAG dust bag module (18) from the

vacuum cleaner chamber.

Grab the dust bag cover, gently bend it towards the

inside and remove the whole dust bag upwards.

Insert the plate of the new dust bag in the tracks of the

SAFBAG dust bag module (18) and slide it until stop. The

direction for inserting the dust bag is indicated by the arrow

on the bag.

Slide the SAFBAG dust bag module together with the

installed bag in the tracks located on the side of the vacuum

cleaner chamber. Close the cover by pressing it until you

hear a characteristic click – pay attention not to trap the

dust bag.

ATTENTION! Do not vacuum without the SAFBAG dust

bag module installed in the appliance. The lack of the

SAFBAG dust bag module prevents from locking the

upper cover of the appliance.

ZELMER vacuum cleaners are equipped with SAFBAG dust

bags in the amount indicated in the table. It is recommended

to replace the dust bag if:

a) the dust bag full indicator lights up,

b) the vacuum cleaner operates poorly,

c) the dust bag is full.

Filter disassembly

Before changing the filters make sure that the vacuum

cleaner is switched off and unplugged from the mains

supply.
HEPA OUTLET FILTER
The vacuum cleaners are equipped with an H11 outlet filter

HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air). The HEPA filter has

been designed to maximize its filtration capability through

special fibers, which are able to retain almost all dust

particles. The H11 class determines the permeability of

a filter. The HEPA H11 filter retains 95,5% of particles of 0.3

micron.

To replace the HEPA filter lift the vacuum cleaner handle

and open the accessory compartment.

Grab the filter cover by the fastening, firmly pull with the

thumb and lift it upwards

Remove the HEPA filter case and replace it with a new

one. The HEPA filter ensures an effective operation of the

vacuum cleaner for about 1 year.

Insert the cover so that the two protrusions in the lower

part of the cover are inserted in the openings of the vacuum

cleaner body, press the filter cover so that the rear fastenings

snap shot on the body.
INLET FILTER

Release the upper cover fastening (12) and open the

cover.

Remove the SAFBAG dust bag module (18) from the

vacuum cleaner chamber.

Slide the inlet filter casing with the installed inlet filter

from the tracks on the back side of the vacuum cleaner

chamber.

Remove the inlet filter (16) from the inlet filter casing.

Place the new filter in the inlet filter casing (17) with the

material side directed towards the inside of the casing.

Slide the inlet filter casing (17) together with the filter in

the tracks until stop to the previous position.

ATTENTION! Always replace a damaged inlet filter (16)

with a brand new, original one.

Insert the SAFBAG dust bag module to the vacuum

cleaner chamber.

Close the cover by pressing it until you hear

a characteristic click – pay attention not to trap the dust bag.

Special accessories

The following special accessories may be purchased in retail

outlets:
Zelmer turbobrush (22)

May be used with all types of ZELMER vacuum cleaners. Is

used for an effective vacuuming of carpets and fitted carpets.

While using the turbobrush follow the instruction manual.
The use of the turbobrush decidedly increases the

effectiveness of removing fibrous dirt such as: animal hair,

hair, threads etc. It is practically useful in households with

pets (cats, dogs), where removing the animal hair from the

carpets and floorings is very onerous.

End of operation cleaning and

maintenance

Switch off the vacuum cleaner by pressing the “on/off”

button (7).

Unplug the appliance.

Wind the cord by pressing the cord rewind button (4).

While doing this hold the cord to make sure it is not tangled

and the plug does not hit the vacuum cleaner housing.

Disconnect the telescopic tube from the nozzle or brush.

Disconnect the telescopic tube from the hose.

Press the two side buttons on the end of the hose and

remove the hose end from the inlet opening of the vacuum

cleaner.

The vacuum cleaner may be stored vertically or horizontally.

In order to do so, insert the fastening hook of the combination

brush to the combination brush fastener. The hose may be

attached to the vacuum cleaner, however you have to make

sure that it is not excessively bent during storing.

If necessary wipe the housing and the dust bag container

with a damp cloth (it may be soaked with dishwashing liquid)

and dry it or wipe until dry.
Do not use abrasive detergents or solvents.
