After you finish using the grill, switch it off by
setting the temperature control knob (9) to the
position «OFF», and unplug the unit.

Before cleaning the unit wait till it cools down
completely.

Using the unit as a flat frying surface

During the grill operation it is necessary to
tilt the frying plates (3, 6); to do this, turn the
additional supports (2) to the handle (1) and
turn the lower additional supports (12) to the
supportive legs.

Open the grill by the handle (1) approximately
at 90°. Holding the upper frying plate by the
handle (1) press on the lock (4) «180°» and
open the grill fully.

Note: Open the grill before plugging it in.

Attention!

Do not switch the grill on without the remov-
able frying plates (3, 6) installed.

Do not use the unit without the fat container
(10).

While the frying plates (3, 6) are heating up,
do not open the grill, the frying plates heat
up quicker and more evenly in closed posi-
tion.

During the frying plates (3, 6) heating up set
the upper frying plate height adjuster (5) to
the position «OPEN».

Be careful: the grill body heats up strongly
during the operation. To avoid burns do not
touch hot surfaces, open the grill only by the
handle (1).

Be careful and beware of steam release from
gaps between the frying plates. Keep your
hands and other open parts of your body
away from the frying plates.

During operation the indicators (8) «READY»
and (7) «POWER» will be going out and light
up again, indicating that the preset tempera-
ture of the frying plates is maintained.

FRYING RECOMMENDATIONS:

Do not use the grill for defrosting and frying
of frozen food.

Do not cook meat with large bones.

Frying time depends on the products used.
Make sure that the products are well prepared
before eating.

If you noticed that the food starts sticking,
reduce the temperature or add more oil to the
frying plates.

Take the products out of the grill right after
frying; keeping products in the operating
unit for a long time can cause their burning.

Never use sharp metal objects to take the pre-
pared food out, as they can damage the non-
stick coating of the frying plates. Always use
plastic or wooden kitchen tools suitable for
non-stick coatings.

Note: Recommended thickness of a steak is no
less than 4 cm. Take a frozen steak out of the
fridge at least in an hour before frying, so the
steak can heat up to room temperature.
