• For children safety reasons do not leave poly-
ethylene bags, used as a packaging, unat-
tended.
Attention! Do not allow children to play with
polyethylene bags or packaging film. Danger of
suffocation!
• Never pull the power cord, when disconnect-
ing the unit from the mains; take the power
plug and carefully pull it out of the socket.
• Never use the unit if the power cord or the
power plug is damaged, if the unit works
improperly or after it was dropped.
• Do not disassemble the unit by yourself, if
any malfunction is detected or after it was
dropped, apply to the nearest authorized ser-
vice center.
• Transport the unit in the original package only.
• Keep the unit out of reach of children and dis-
abled persons.
THE UNIT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD
USAGE ONLY
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
After unit transportation or storage under
cold (winter) conditions, it is necessary to
keep it for at least two hours at room tem-
perature before switching on.
– Before switching the unit on for the first time,
make sure that the mains voltage corresponds
to the voltage specified on the unit body.
– Open the grill and remove the frying plates
(3 and 6) by pressing on the release but-
tons (13). Wash the frying plates with warm
water and neutral detergent and dry them
thoroughly. Install the frying plates back to
theirs places; to do this, match the grooves
on the rear side of the frying plate with the
locks on the unit body and press on the
front part of the surface until the buttons
(13) clicking.
– Before using the unit apply some vegeta-
ble oil on the non-stick coating of the frying
plates (3, 6), spread the oil over the whole
surface and wipe the surplus oil with a paper
napkin.
– Close the unit, insert the power plug into the
socket, the power indicator (7) «POWER» will
light up.
– Set the temperature control knob (9) to the
position «MAX», the pilot lamp of the heating
elements «READY» (8) will light up, and the
power indicator (7) «POWER» will go out.
– After 5-10 minutes switch the unit off by set-
ting the temperature control knob (9) to the
position «OFF» and unplug the unit.
– Wait until the frying plates (3, 6) cool down
completely and remove the remaining veg-
etable oil from the frying plates (3, 6) with a
paper napkin.
Note: While the first unit operation the heating
elements burn, therefore occurrence of a small
amount of smoke or foreign smell is possible. It is
normal and is not a sign of malfunction.
OPERATION
– Place unit on a flat stable surface.
– Check if the fat container (10) is installed.
– Oil the non-stick coating of frying plates (3,
6) slightly.
– Set the temperature control knob (9) to the
position «OFF».
– Insert the power plug into the mains socket;
the indicator (7) «POWER» will light up.
– Use the temperature control knob (9) to set
the required heating temperature of the fry-
ing plates (3, 6).
– Once the frying plates heat up to the required
temperature, the indicator (8) READY will go
out, and the power indicator (7) POWER will
light up, and you can start cooking.
– Take the handle (1) and open the grill.
– Put the products on the lower frying plate (6)
carefully. Avoid getting burns by splashing liq-
uids or fat.
– You can use the unit as a press grill. To do this
take the upper frying plate (3) by the handle
(1), move it down and press the products with it.
– You can also fix the upper frying plate (3) at a
preset distance from the lower frying plate (6).
To do this, lift the upper frying plate (3) by the
handle (1), move the adjuster (5) to required
position (from «LOW» to «HIGH») and carefully
move the upper plate (3) down.
Attention! Do not touch the unit body with bare
hands. Put on thermal protective potholders.
– After the products are ready, lift the upper fry-
ing plate (3) by the handle (1).
– Put the prepared products into an appropri-
ate dish; use wooden or heat-resistant plastic
kitchen tools to remove the products.
– If you are going to use the grill again, set the
upper frying plate height adjuster (5) to the
position «OPEN», lower the upper flying plate
(3) on the lower frying plate (6) and wait till the
frying plates (3, 6) heat up.
