Warning

·

Unless directions are followed and original spare parts used,

physical injury or property damage may result.

Protect compressor against rain, moisture, frost and dust.

·

Compressor is only suitable for installations with the nominal

voltage stated on the motor plate.

·

The compressor is constructed and approved for a max.

pressure of 10 bar/150 psi, however, 8 bar/120 psi for model
600. Do not adjust the compressor to a higher pressure.

·

Do not in any way block or prevent the normal functioning of

the safety valve on the receiver.

·

Only connect pneumatic equipment suitable for the max.

pressure indicated.

·

Do not operate compressor at ambient temperatures

exceeding 35°C/95°F or falling below 0°C/32°F.

·

Do not touch compressor motor during operation as there is a

risk of burn due to high temperatures.

·

Do not direct air flow at head or body.

·

When a flammable liquid is sprayed, there may be danger of

fire or explosion, especially in closed rooms.

·

Always keep the compressor out of reach of children.

Guarantee

Provided that the operational instructions have been carried out,
your JUN-AIR compressor is guaranteed against faulty material or
workmanship for 2 years.
The air receiver is guaranteed for 5 years.
The guarantee does not cover damage caused by violence,
misuse, incorrect repairs or use of unoriginal spare parts.
Costs of transportation of parts/equipment are not covered by the
guarantee.
JUN-AIR’s Conditions for Sale and Delivery will generally apply.
JUN-AIR International A/S reserves the right to change technical
specifications/ constructions.

Note:

This product must be connected to a power supply
branch protected by a Fuse or Circuit Breaker with a
rating of not less than 20 A, in order to comply with the
essential requirements of the EMC-directive 89/336/
EEC of may 3rd. 1989.

Installation

Your JUN-AIR compressor is very easy to operate. Observe the
following simple instructions and you will get many years’ service
from your compressor.

·

Visually inspect unit for shipping damage, contact your supplier

immediately if you think the unit may have been damaged.

·

Now place the compressor in a dustfree, dry and cool, yet

frostfree room.

·

Do not place compressor directly against a wall, as this will

prevent ventilation. The two distance bolts are to be mounted
at the back of the cabinet to ensure sufficient ventilation (fig. 1).

·

An hour meter is installed on the cabinet. Observe after 1

month how many hours the compressor has performed in
order to obtain an impression of the maintenance intervals (fig.
2 og 3).

·

Mount drain bottle in a visible place outside the cabinet. The

tube from the drain bottle is to be mounted at the back of the
cabinet where it says „drain“ (fig. 4).

·

Plug cable into the plug at the back of the cabinet (fig. 5)

(Model 4000 is mounted with cable).

·

Plug the compressor into an outlet switch of nominal voltage

and ensure that fusing is adequate (see Technical Details).

·

Ensure that compressor model is correct for air consumption,

see Technical Details.

·

Connect airline at the back of the cabinet where it says „outlet“

(fig. 6).

·

Check model description for your compressor. If the

compressor is fitted with a dryer, the service intervals will be
shortened.

The two front wheels are supplied with brakes. Brake the

wheels prior to starting the compressor (fig. 7).

How to operate the JUN-AIR compressor

Compressor start:

Start the compressor by pushing the green button (fig. 8
- model 2000). On model 4000 this button

is to be turned (fig. 9 - model 4000).

The green lamp for compressor in operation is now

alight.

Outlet pressure is to be read on the pressure gauge.

Outlet pressure is to be adjusted on the regulator.

Receiver pressure is to be read on the pressure gauge.

The hour meter shows how many hours the compressor

has been in operation.

The green lamp for fans in operation is alight when the

fans are running.

If the compressor does not start when pushing/turning the
button, please refer to Fault finding and Repair.

Compressor stop
Symbol

Turn off the compressor by pushing the green button.

On model 4000 this button is to be turned.

The green lamp for compressor in operation now

switches off.
