a) Touch the «Down» key [È] or «Up» key [Ç] or the figure key [1] or [] to select key tone.
«ON» means beep is on. «OFF» means beep is off.
b) Touch [ENTER] or [ESC] to confirm the setting.
14.5. Password
You can protect your TEL/ MEMO information by inputting your
personal password. Before you input the password, make sure you
record your password in a safe place, otherwise your data stored in
TEL/ MEMO memory will be locked until you reset your Dictionary.
14.5.1. Set up a password
Move the cursor to the Password in the setup menu and press
[ENTER] or press the figure [5]. Display shows:
Input your password (not more than 8 letters) and press [ENTER]
display shows:
Input your password again, then press [ENTER], if the same
password is input twice, it will shows «Lock!», or it will shows
«Error!».
When you setup a password, you have to input the password
whenever you enter the TEL/ MEMO and displays shows:
