2. Disconnect power cord from wall outlet to
switch the appliance off completely.
Battery supply
. Disconnect player from mains supply.
2. Open battery compartment cover (2)
located at its back by pressing the latch in
direction indicated by arrow.
. Insert eight batteries of UM-2/R / C type
(not included into delivery set) in battery
compartment following the polarity.
. Close battery compartment cover (2).
Notice: If quality od the appliance operation is
deteriorating, check the batteries and replace
them if necessary.
Attention!
Use only batteries of recommended type.
Do not expose them to direct sunlight and heat
sources.
Battery leakage could cause injury or damage
the appliance. Follow the instructions below in
order to avoid it:
- Install batteries properly, following the
polarity and in accordance with marks on
the appliance.
- Do not use batteries of different types
together (old and new ones, batteries of
different types, etc.)
- Take batteries out if you are not going to use
the appliance for a long time
Connecting auxiliary device (AUX)
Use slot AUX IN for connecting auxiliary device.
Set operating modes switch (6) to position
«AUX»
Connect headphones slot of auxiliary device
with AUX IN slot located at the back of your
player using ,5 mm Jack - ,5 mm Jack audio
cable (not included into delivery set).
Switch on auxiliary device. Now you can listen to
recordings through speakers of your player.
Connecting headphones
Connect headphones (not included into delivery
set) to Phones slot for listening music via
headphones. Adjust necessary volume level
using VOLUME knob. Player’s speakers are
switched off automatically when headphones
are connected.
Attention! Do turn on too loud a sound while
listening via headphones. Physicians do
not recommend continuous listening via
headphones.
Bass compensation (BASS BOOST)
Set switch Bass Boost to «ON».position to
enhance bass.
Set switch Bass Boost to « OFF ».position to turn
off bass booster.
Main functions
Always set operating mode switch to OFF
position if you do not use the appliance for
electricity saving purposes.
Radio station reception
. Set operating mode switch to RADIO
position.
2. Select band: FM, AM or FM ST (FM stereo)
by setting operating mode switch to
corresponding position.
. Select and tune the station you need by
rotating station tuning knob TUNING.
While tuning to station transmitting stereo
signal, indicator FM ST is on. If stereo signal
from FM station is weak, try setting band
switch to FM position.
. Pull antenna completely out and direct it
properly to improve reception in FM band.
Player is equipped with built-in antenna
for AM reception. Try several locations of
player.
5. Set operating mode switch to OFF or
select another position upon completion of
listening to radio.
CD playback
Notice:
Always close disk compartment cover to prevent
it from dust.
Always take disc out if you are not going to play
it back.
Do note open disk compartment cover during
playback.
If player jumps from track to track during
playback, reduce volume.
Set operating mode switch to OFF position when
you do not need CD player.
. Select CD playback mode by setting
operating mode switch to CD position.
2. Open disk compartment cover. Insert disc
in and close the cover. Make sure disc is
inserted properly, label up. Total number of
