Recording with Manuai White
Baiance Adjustment
With this Movie Camera, you can also adjust the white
balance manually.
Use this mode for special subjects and recording
conditions, such as listed {-^ 114), for which the Full
Auto Mode is not suitable, and for light sources outside
the range О (“^ 118). Use it also when you want to
manually adjust the white balance for each new scene
as professionals do.
With the Digital Zoom Function activated, it may not be
possible to manually adjust the White Balance. In this
case, first cancel the Digital Zoom Function (Ч 92), then
follow steps 1-3 below. After this, you can activate the
Digital Zoom Function again.
Alternatively, you can zoom back until the zoom
magnification is within the optical zoom range (1 x-
21X), and then perform steps 1-3 below.
1 Press the [PROGRAMME AE] Button
repeatedly until the [MNL] Indication
appears.
Attach the White Lens Cap and zoom in
untii the entire screen is white.
Aim the Movie Camera at the subject
that you want to record and then keep
the [W.B] Button pressed untii the [ь"^]
indication О stops fiashing and
remains lit.

■ Cancelling the Manuai White Baiance
Mode
Press the [W.B] Button once.
• The flashing Indication indicates that the
manually adjusted white balance setting is being
maintained. This setting is maintained until you
manually adjust the white balance again or change
back to recording in the Full Auto Mode.
