УСЛОВИЯ ГАРАНТИЙНОГО ОБСЛУЖИВАНИЯ
Уважаемый покупатель!
Фирма VITEK выражает благодарность за Ваш выбор и гарантирует
высокое качество и безупречное функционирование приобретенного Вами
изделия при соблюдении правил его эксплуатации.
Срок гарантии на все изделия - 12 месяцев со дня покупки. Данным
гарантийным талоном VITEK подтверждает исправность данного изделия и
берет на себя обязательство по бесплатному устранению всех
неисправностей, возникших по вине производителя.
Гарантийный ремонт может быть произведен в авторизированном
сервис-центре на территории России.
Условия гарантии:
1. Настоящая гарантия имеет силу при соблюдении следующих условий:
- правильное и четкое заполнение гарантийного талона с указанием
наименования модели, ее серийного номера, даты продажи и печати
фирмы-продавца в гарантийном талоне и отрывных купонах;
- наличие оригинала квитанции (чека), содержащего дату покупки.
2. VITEK оставляет за собой право на отказ в гарантийном обслуживании в
случае непредоставления вышеуказанных документов, или если
информация в них будет неполной, неразборчивой, противоречивой.
3. Гарантия не включает в себя периодическое обслуживание, установку,
настройку изделия на дому у владельца.
4. Не подлежат гарантийному ремонту изделия с дефектами, возникшими
вследствие:
- механических повреждений;
- несоблюдения условий эксплуатации или ошибочных действий
владельца;
- неправильной установки, транспортировки;
-
стихийных бедствий (молния, пожар, наводнение и т. п.), а также других
причин, находящихся вне контроля продавца и изготовителя;
- попадания внутрь изделия посторонних предметов, жидкостей,
насекомых;
- ремонта или внесения конструктивных изменений неуполномоченными
лицами;
- использования аппаратуры в профессиональных целях;
- отклонений от Государственных Технических Стандартов питающих,
телекоммуникационных и кабельных сетей;
- при выходе из строя деталей, обладающих ограниченным сроком
службы.
5. Настоящая гарантия не ущемляет законных прав потребителя,
предоставленных ему действующим законодательством.

then discard the water. Repeat this procedure two more times. This removes any
residues that may have remained from the manufacturing process. Remove and
rinse the filter before use.
HOW TO USE
With the kettle switched off ("O" position), plug the cord of the base unit into a suit
able power outlet.
Remove the kettle from the base unit before filling.
Open the lid by pressing release catches located on each side of central rib on lid
and fill through the top, observing the maximum level indicator marked on window
to prevent overfilling. Be sure to close the lid to ensure proper operation.
Fill the kettle with no less than the minimum amount (0.5 litres approximately) and
no more than the maximum level mark allows (1.7 litres). To ensure kettle is not
overfilled always check indictor with kettle on a flat level surface.
Place the kettle back on the base unit (be sure the lid is closed properly) and then
switch the kettle on ("1" position).
The on/off switch lights up when the kettle is turned on.
When water reaches boiling point, the kettle will automatically switch off and the
neon light goes off.
You may also manually switch off the kettle by pressing the switch to the "0" posi
tion.
Always ensure the kettle is switched off before removing from or replacing on the
base unit.
WARNING: If this product is filled above max. level hot water may be ejected.
CLEANING
Always unplug from the plug socket before cleaning.
Clean the exterior surface of the kettle with a damp cloth. Do not use steel wool
pads or abrasive cleaners. Do not immerse the kettle or the base unit in water or liq
uid of any kind.
This kettle features a concealed heating element which means it never comes into
contact with the water inside the kettle. This hygienic design not only makes clean
ing the inside of the kettle much easier, it also keeps cleaning to a minimum.
The filter inside the kettle needs to be cleaned periodically, how often will vary
according to where you live and how often you use your kettle. You should clean it
whenever there are any noticeable deposits left on the filter'and especially if the
rate of pouring begins to reduce.
Although the kettle is designed for element to remain scale free, in hard water areas
scale may still build up on base. Descale regularly using a proprietary descaler.
