Steam-Ironing
Set the temperature control (1) to position ••• or MAX for moder-
ate steam and maximium steam. With conventional steam irons,
water may leak from the soleplate if a too low temperature has been
selected.
Ensure that there is enough water in the water reservoir.
 Stand the iron on its heel.
 Insert the mains plug into the wall socket.
 Wait a little while for the temperature indicator light to go out and
come on again.
 Set the Variable Steam Control to adjust the steam, move down-
ward direction to reduce steam output and move upward direction
to increase steam output.
Burst of Steam
By pressing button (4) an intense “Burst” of steam is emitted from the
soleplate. To prevent water leaking from the soleplate, do not keep
the burst of steam button depressed for more than 5 seconds.
