Rotate the mode dial to a.

Press [Shutter] halfway down to focus

A green frame means the subject in focus.

Press [Shutter] all the way down to take the
photo.

Press [Shutter].
Press [o] to pause or resume.

Press [Shutter] again to stop the recording.
