Hints On Juice Preparation
Cleaning
Caution :
• Wash or peel the fruit of vegetables you want to process.
• Process seed fruit (such as apples, pears) with peels and cores.
• Fruits and vegetables with thick peels (e.g.. citrus fruits, melons, kiwis,
beets) must be peeled first.
• Grapes can be processed only after separation from the bunch.
• For leafy vegetables (e.g.: cabbage and spinach) and herbs, roll leaves
together tightly.
• Cut fruits and vegetables into pieces that will fit into the filling shaft.
• Do not use very string fruits and vegetables (e.g., currants and rhubarb) in
the juice extractor.
• Put fruits or vegetables into the filling shaft.
• Move the switch to position “1” or “2” by pushing the knob downward and
press lightly with the pusher. Add more fruits or vegetables while the motor
is running.
• The amount of juice you extract depends on the nature of the fruits and
vegetable. When processing berries, the quantity of juice will be smaller
because of their high amount of pectin, (pectin is a natural gelatin). Special
berry presses or steam presses are better suited to that type of fruit.
• When reapplying the pusher, make sure that the motor is running smoothly.
• Never use your fingers to push food in the filling shaft. Use only the pusher.
• Be sure that the filter is free from obstruction.
• Buy the freshest fruits and vegetables available.
• Fruits and vegetables contain valuable vitamins and minerals which
deteriorate when they come into contact with oxygen or light. Drink juice
right after it has been extracted.
• If it is necessary to store it for a few hours, place it in the refrigerator using
china or glass containers. Adding the juice of a lemon will help preserve it.
• You can use the pulp for other dishes (jams, compotes, etc.).
• When fruits are very juicy (melons, watermelons, etc.), insert them slowly to
get the mot juice out of the fruit.
• When extracting juice from very ripe fruits, the resulting liquid can be quite
thick. In such cases, it is necessary to process more slowly so that the juice
can run off more easily and to avoid blockages.
• Always unplug the appliance first before cleaning!
• Never immerse the main body in water, clean it with a damp cloth.
• All other parts can be washed under the tap, running water is more efficient
for cleaning
• The cutter/strainer teeth are sharp. Handle carefully. Rinse, dry, and
reassemble for storage.
• The plastic parts may be stained when processing foods with a high
pigment content.
(e.g.: carrots). Use vegetable oil to clean.
Do not clean any parts of the juice extractor in the dishwasher.

7. Не используйте прибор, если на шнуре или на вилке видны следы
повреждения, не используйте прибор, если он падал или был
поврежден. Отнесите прибор в сервисный центр для осмотра или
починки.
8. Использование деталей, не рекомендованных производителем,
может привести к пожару или поражению электрическим током.
9. Не открывайте крышку до тех пор, пока не остановится мотор, не
погружайте прибор в воду для чистки, протрите прибор влажной
тканью.
10. Достаньте штепсель из розетки, во время чистки или перемещения
прибора.
11. Для того, что бы отключить прибор, поставьте ручку управления в
положение «ВЫКЛ» (OFF) возьмитесь рукой за штепсель и достаньте
его из розетки. Никогда не вытаскивайте штепсель, держась за шнур.
12. Ремонт прибора должен производиться только в сервисной
мастерской. Неправильный ремонт может привести к несчастным
случаям и травмам.
13. Не используйте прибор, если вращающаяся сетка повреждена
