Note:
do not wash the rice in the inside bowl as this could
damage the non stick coating.
2. Plug the power supply cord connector (aaaaa) into the socket (88888).
Then connect the appliance to the mains and the yellow indica-
tor light (77777) will be on.
3. When you press the ON/OFF key (55555) the yellow indicator (77777)
will go out with the red indicator lighting up (66666) to signal the
cooking is under way.
4. Once the rice is cooked, the appliance will switch off automati-
cally. The red indicator light (66666) goes out whereas the yellow
indicator lights up (77777). We recommend that you do not take the
lid off for at least 15 minutes after the cooking is over.
5. The rice cooker will automatically maintain the rice tempera-
ture within 60°- 80°C. If the temperature drops below that
level then the red indicator (66666) lights up once more to indicate
that the heat-up process starts over again.
Note:
unplug the rice cooker from the mains after its usage
or if you are not keeping the rice warm.
How to Use Steam Basket
Pour some water into the bowl (22222) and place the basket (33333) with
the foodstuffs on top of it. Then put the lid (44444) on the rice cooker.
Follow items 2-3 of the ‘Operation Manual’ section. When the
cooking is over take the basket (33333) off the bowl (22222) or the
cooking will continue.
Note:
you can steam fish, meat, vegetables and other foods
that will not fall through the basket holes (3).
MAINTENANCE AND
CLEANING
1. Unplug the rice cooker from the mains and
wait until the appliance has cooled down before
proceeding with cleaning or storage.
2.Do not immerse the cooker housing (11111) or the
power supply cord (11

11) into the water. Clean
those cooker parts with a slightly moistened lint-
free cloth without adding any cleaning agents.
3. Wash the inside bowl (22222) and the basket (33333) with hot soapy water.
Warning:
do not use any abrasive or coarse cleaners.
4. To clean the heater plate, use steel wool to polish and remove all
residue with damp cloth.
5. Reassemble the rice cooker after its parts are completely dry.
