4. FRONT PANEL

a

Infrared remote receptor. Aim at the receptor and then press buttons on the

remote when using remote control.

«STAND BY» button. Connect to the AC power; the indicator will turn red

indicating the receiver is in stand by. Press the «STAND BY» button; then the
indicator will turn blue. This indicates that the receiver comes into normal work-
ing state.

«CH+» and «CH-» button. When the receiver is receiving normal TV signal,

press the «CH+» or «CH-» button to select programming channel forward or backward. In the menu, press
the «CH+» or "CH-" button to select the items that needs to be adjusted upward or downward.

«VOL+» and «VOL-» button. When the receiver is receiving normal TV signal, press the «VOL+» or

«VOL-» button to adjust the volume of the speaker. Press the «VOL+» or «VOL-» button to select the menu
and to adjust the selected items in the menu.

«MENU» button. Press the «MENU» button to get into the menu; press the «MENU» again to exit.

«MODE» button. Press the «MODE» button continuously, TV/AV/S-Video/YCbCr/YPbPr/PC/SCART sev-

eral program sources will be selected in turn.

5. REMOTE CONTROL

«STAND BY» button: The function is the same as the

power function of «STAND BY» on the receiver button
board.

«MUTE» button: Used for muting the speakers when

this button is pressed. The mute symbol is displayed on
the upper right corner of the screen; pressed again to
regain the sound and the mute symbol disappears.

«0-9» number button: Used for selecting «0 9» pro

gram number directly.

«MODE» button: Used for selecting the program sources. The program

sources TV–AV–S Video–YCbCr–YPbPr–PC–SCART is selected in sequence,
and the corresponding symbol is shown on the nether right corner of the screen
when press this button. The function is the same as the mode function of «MODE»
on the receiver button board.

«MENU» button: The function is the same as the function of «MENU» on the

receiver button board.

«CH+/CH-» button: Used for increasing or decreasing program channel

number when viewing TV program. Other functions are the same as the func
tion of the «CH+» and «CH » on the receiver button board.

«VOL+/VOL-» button: Used for adjusting the volume of the speaker. Other

functions are the same as the function of the «VOL+» and «VOL »button on the
receiver button board.

«DISPLAY» button: Press this button to display current broadcasting TV

program number, sound system, color system and the sleep time if you have
chosen sleep time on the upper right corner of the screen.(this function is only
used for TV signal)

«SLEEP» button: Press this button to display the Sleep Time frame, then

press the [VOL+] or [VOL ] button to select the time.

«I/II» button: Used for selecting sound mode directly. Press the button con

tinuously and the symbols «Mono» «Stereo» are displayed on the screen of the
upper right corner in turn. «I» stands for mono sound while «II» stands for stereo.
In case of bilingual broadcast. Press «I/II» firstly to enter «Dual A» mode; press
«I/II» secondly to enter «Dual B» sound mode; press «I/II» thirdly to enter «Mono»
mode.

«AUTO» button: When the input is PC signal, the receiver will adjust the

parameters of selected display format automatically to get the best effect when
pressing this button.

l

«16:9» button: No «16:9» function for this receiver.

m

«P.SYS» button: Used for selecting the picture mode in no teletext mode. The

picture mode «Mild» «Standard» « Dynamic» «Memory» is selected in sequence.
