unplugged, and the switch is in the gear of

"0".

of the main unit. Locate the integrated pulp

container so that the spout fits through the

hole in the front of the main unit.

filter basket with the arrows of the motor

drive coupling and push down until it clicks

into place. Ensure the stainless steel filter

basket is fitted securely inside the integrat-

The transparent cover can be positioned in

either of the plastic wings on the integrated

under the spout of the juicer. Note the juice

jug need to be placed under the juice spout

A glass could also be used to collect the

juice, but using the jug and lid is recom-

mended to avoid any splatter. Your juicer is

now ready for use.

Food preparation

5

1. The best result will be obtained if your

juice really fresh produce, as foods which

have been stored for any period of time will

be dried out.

As a general guideline, you do not need to

peel any fruits and vegetables whose skin

you would normally eat. However, we do

recommend washing all foods before it is

juiced, as the majority of commercially

grown fruits and vegetables are sprayed

with fertilizers and insecticides.

2. Always trim off any blemishes.

3. Scrub carrots etc. with a brush to re-

move any dirt.

4. Remove skin from thick skinned fruits,

such as melon and pineapple.

5. Remove stones from cherries, peaches,

nectarines etc.

6. Leafy herbs and vegetables should be

rolled tightly.

Juicing

Food preparation

NOTE:

Ensure that a container is placed under the

juice outlet to collect the juice.

1 .Assemble the machine correctly, turn the

switch to gear "0" and insert the plug into

the right electrical outlet.

2. Place the main unit onto a flat stable

surface.

Note:

Make sure the main unit can not be placed

on the surface, which with water juice or

other liquid. In case during the operation,

the liquid gets into the main unit, affect

using.

3. Wash the fruits and/or vegetables and

cut them into pieces that fit into feed tube.

4. Turn the switch to suitable gear.

Switch on.

1 gear: suitable for soft fruits and vegeta-

bles, such as watermelon, grape, tomato,

cucumber, strawberry.

2 gear: suitable for all fruits and vegeta-

bles.

5. Put the fruits or vegetable into the feed

tube .

6. Use the food pusher to gently press the

food against the filter. If you push too hard,

less juice will be extracted and you risk

damaging your juicer.

NOTICE:

Never insert your fingers or any objects into

the feed tube.

Do not operate the juicer for more than two

minutes at one time when juicing heavy

loads and let it cool down for 2 minutes

before reuse.

7. After the juice flow has stopped, switch

the appliance off and wait until the filter has

slopped rotating.

When juicing very soft fruits, such as

strawberries, peaches etc., you

may find that they are juiced as soon as

they reach the filter.

When you juice your fruits and vegetables,

the pulp will accumulate in

the integrated pulp container.

Always empty the container before it gets

too full. If you are juicing apples (for exam-

ple), the pulp can be used to make apple

cake recipes.
